With This Ring . . .

Just wanted to share some of my favorite shots from the wedding ceremony of the Blossom-Young wedding I shot this past Saturday. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This is the bride's sister . . .

the groom's sister . . .

and the lovely flower girl.

The handsome groom, waiting for his bride.

The beautiful bride making her entrance. I love that look on her face, as she's making eye contact with her groom. Her eyes say, "Yeah, I'm looking hot!"

Repeating their vows . . .

With this ring . . . I thee wed.

The couple in prayer . . . the Best Man checking his watch!!

The flower girl peeking at ME during the prayer!!

Well, at least someone was praying!! This is the bride's mother and grandparents.

Taking their first steps as husband and wife. It was really cool, they walked out to the sexy crooning of Barry White! I thought that was pretty original. I love the little glance they are giving each other as they take that first step together.

Blossom Young Wedding

So excited to share the first image from the wedding I shot today. Anna Young made a stunningly beautiful bride, just as I knew she would.

I met Anna when she was just a 7th grader. And today, I had the privilege of capturing her special day for her.

Look for more to come soon!

Class of 2007

Here's to the class of 2007! Congrats on making it to you senior year! You're in a for a fun year full of smiles and tears . . . all of which you will cherish forever.

You'll also be getting your senior portrait done. Now, I have a philosophy on senior portraits. First, they should be fun. I'm all about fun.

Second, they should have style, YOUR STYLE! If you're funny, sassy, sweet or sexy . . . it should show in your senior portraits! And more than likely, you're all of those things. So my job is to let you reveal who you are in front of my lens.

Third, it should be affordable. Enough said.

I have to say that making senior portraits is one of my favorite things about being a photographer. As a youth minister, I really enjoy just being with teenagers. I enjoy their individuality and their personalities.

So making senior portraits is always a lot of fun!! Because I want your individual style to take center stage.

I'm posting some of my favorite senior portraits from years past. I hope when you're deciding where to go for your portraits, you'll think of DC Portraits & Imaging. It's all about you!

The first one is from the set already previewed, of an 8x10 board with two 4x6 openings. The second one is a new size I'm working on. It is a 10x20 board with three 5x7 openings. As you can see adding text is simple and easy!

Beautiful Babies

I have finished with the twins pictures, and have a few more I'd like to share. They were so beautiful, and so easy to work with.

I love taking babies portraits. Capturing their little belly's, their little fists, and bright eyes. Hoping to capture that elusive grin is always thrilling! I love it when you capture just the right moment!

These are all in black & white. I hope you enjoy them.
